thirteen paths: a halloween anthology

Thirteen Paths. Sometimes, you get an opportunity to work on a project that is more than a project – this is one of them. Imagine sitting down with your friends to devise, execute, and publish your own anthology. This was a dream project. The good kind of work: fun, but also rewarding. There are some amazing stories in here, and I’m not even talking about my own.

Timber & Stone, where urban legends are explored, debunked, and examined both by those that circulate them, and their departed subjects. Invasive, a cautionary tale about seasonal vegetation. A Dish Served Cold, a revenge story and my first personal exploration of Splatterpunk style. I Know a Place finds a group of childhood friends searching for the best trick-or-treating neighborhood and getting far more than they bargained for. And Midnight Snack, a story of hunger, and how sometimes our hunger can be bigger and louder than reason and rationality, which can lead to trouble.
