Bayfront Park, Sunset

At the end of her favorite-ever internship with Great Lakes Center for the Arts in Petoskey, MI, Leah captured a warm, hazy sunset at Bayfront Park. She frequented this area for relaxing strolls, meditation, and the perfect lakefront breeze to accompany her book.

This image was taken on one of the last nights she spent in Petoskey before she returned to her then-home in Southwest Michigan, and it symbolizes the end of an era. She had become a better, stronger, more mature young woman over that summer, and it was with great gratitude she spent those last evenings with the sun at the water.
